The
connection between the clay, the potter and the owner is part of the
magic of handmade pots. Each time the pot is used, the vision of
the maker is expressed in the final enjoyment of the piece.
My
work with clay is constantly challenging and rewarding which keeps me
always striving for the next successful piece. The pieces are many
times both thrown on the wheel with hand-built additions. They
are fired in an oxidation atmosphere and are dishwasher safe.
I
have always been drawn to pots with luscious color, be it bold or
subtle. My pots are friendly with a hint of elegance. I
strive to create work that can be used in daily living or placed on the
shelf to be appreciated as art.
