The state of Tennessee is remarkable for
the number and quality of artist craftsman who make their home here.
Artists have shops and studios open, teach and demonstrate their craft,
participate in retail craft fairs, and supply art galleries across the
southeast region as well as the entire country.
Craft artists create blown as well as fused glass; clay items ranging
from decorative raku to functional stoneware; hand-forged iron;
jewelry; sculpture in metal, clay, wood and concrete; photography;
fiber, woven, felted, dyed, paper and book-making; etchings; wood
turned, carved and made into furniture. All are beautiful items to live
with or gift to others.
When visiting artists' studios remember that this is their workplace.
Call in advance for time and availability.
